Turkish citizen robbed by friend of his girlfriend

A Turkish citizen was robbed, in Chisinau, of about 110,000 lei by the friend of a Moldovan girl he was dating for a while. According to the Press Center of the General Police Station, the robbery occurred on 4 July, at 01:30, in the park „Valea Trandafirilor”. A young man robbed the 40-years-old Turk by using violence, of his passport and the amount of 6,500 euros. Shortly the suspect was arrested, a young man aged 23. He told the policemen that he has robbed the Turkish man at the suggestion of the Turk’s girlfriend, native Moldovan, aged 25. The girl gave him the necessary instructions about the amount the Turkish has on him, promising him in to share the money if they succeed. At the moment, both suspects are arrested, after they recognized their guilt. If they are found guilty, they risk 4-10 year imprisonment, or fines from 500 to 1,000 conventional units.
