Turkey will support the setting up of a medical device testing lab in Moldova. Such a commitment was made by the president of the Turkish Standards Institution Sebahittin Korkmaz, who is in Chisinau on a visit, IPN reports.
In a meeting with Minister of Economy Octavian Calmac, Sebahittin Korkmaz said the institution he represents is ready to support the implementation of the given project, including by direct investments.
Octavian Calmac welcomed the interest of the Turkish Standards Institution in establishing cooperation relations with relevant institutions of Moldova, including by implementing investment and other kinds of projects in the field.
“Today’s meeting is a follow-up to our dialogue held in December 2016 in Istanbul, where the first direct contacts were established and the main cooperation lines were agreed,” stated the minister.
Sebahittin Korkmaz will be in Moldova until March 8.
