Vehicles and especially trucks will need to detour to the Palanca/Maiaki-Udobne border crossing on Saturday and Sunday after the Moldovan checkpoint Tudora and the Ukrainian checkpoint Starokozache have been closed due to roadworks, IPN learned from the Moldovan Border Police.
Meanwhile, vehicle and passenger traffic remains switched from the Cosauti/Yampol border crossing to the nearest one at Soroca/Tsekinovka after the only cable ferry providing transportation over the Nistru River at the former had broken earlier this week.
