Facing early parliamentary elections  and running the risk of losing them, the Liberal Democratic Party will insist on the conditions put forward by it, including to depoliticize the inspection and rule of law institutions, and will not form alliances for the sake of alliances because the people are tired and the rulers risk being removed, Liberal-Democratic MP Tudor Deliu said in the public debate “Re-forming of anticorruption system: necessities and realities. SCOs’ statement “Simulation of reformation of the justice and anticorruption system in Moldova”, which was organized by IPN in concert with Radio Moldova.

Tudor Deliu stated that complete anarchy is now witnessed in Moldova because all those who hold power do not realize that corruption is the biggest scourge and if the fight against it is simulated by all kinds of bills, this scourge will continue to affect society. While in power, the PLDM put forward numerous bills aimed at overcoming particular problems, but it could not always find the necessary support.

According to the lawmaker, the current situation is due to the loyalty to the negative phenomena, especially corruption. The PLDM will insist on its conditions and will not form coalitions for the sake of coalitions because it no longer wants to be the umbrella that is used by others to cover themselves.

Tudor Deliu said the party needs to undergo cleaning at internal level. Therefore, the National Political Council decided to set up a commission that will verify the activities and income statements of the party members and those who will be suspected of illegalities or there will be evidence of such acts will have to leave the party.

The public debate “Re-forming of anticorruption system: necessities and realities. SCOs’ statement “Simulation of reformation of the justice and anticorruption system in Moldova” is the 47th installment of the series of debates “Developing political culture by public debates” that are supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
