The parliamentary group of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) has a new leader. This is Tudor Deliu. The announcement was made in the first sitting of the spring session of Parliament, which is held on February 25, IPN reports.

Tudor Deliu said that given that seven Liberal-Democratic MPs chose to form part of the parliamentary alliance, these were excluded from the group. As the composition of the parliamentary group was changed, the PLDM asks that two of the MPs who were excluded from the group - Vladimir Hotineanu and Stefan Creanga – should be removed from the posts of chairmen of parliamentary commissions. The two MPs are requested to resign themselves.

The head of the commission on economy Stefan Creanga replied that the post of commission chairman is not the exclusive right of a parliamentary group and only Parliament can remove them from these posts.
