To remedy the situation, we need early elections so that the people choose themselves the parliamentary alliances and these are not formed with turncoats overnight, Liberal-Democratic MP Tudor Deliu stated in the talk show “Emphasis on today” on “TVR – Moldova” channel, IPN reports.
“I doubt that the current government will do the announced reforms. The current parliamentary alliance is frail because it includes many turncoats. According to my information, these blackmail those from the Democratic Party for voting one law or another so as to obtain particular advantages. This alliance is not stable. Tomorrow they could take their dolls and leave,” said the lawmaker.
According to Tudor Deliu, so far the current alliance passed laws that were drafted by the Gaburici and Strelet Cabinets. “The people have reasons to be dissatisfied. No changes for the better are seen,” stated the Lib-Dem.
In the same program, Liberal MP Lilian Carp said the Liberals formed an alliance with the Democrats in order to maintain the European course. “We admit that the Liberal Party exposed itself to a great risk when it decided to form an alliance with the PDM. But, if we hadn’t form this alliance, early elections would have been held and the power could have been seized by those with a red star on the forehead,” he stated.
