A truck with apples was unloaded in front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry on Wednesday. The producer this way expressed his dissatisfaction with the impossibility of exporting the grown apples following the ban imposed by the Russian Federation. People passing by came and loaded their bags up with apples.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Daniela Turculeț, senior consultant of the Ministry’s Media Relations Service, said that today’s event was political in character and the institution will not comment on the actions and initiatives of political parties therefore.
“The responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry is to work out policies in the agricultural sector. The institution cooperates closely with representatives of the sector and makes effort to create an environment favorable for agriculture and rural development,” stated Daniela Turculeț.
