Truck crashes into house, man killed

A truck transporting a tank with wine ran into the corner of a house in Vulcanesti town after the driver probably lost consciousness. According to the Traffic Police Division, the 54-year-old man did not survive. Nobody in the house was injured, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The cause of the driver's death is not yet known. Allegedly, he died as a result of a cardiovascular disease or of the received injuries. The investigations go on.
A GAZ-24 driven by a 34-year-old man crashed into a utility pole on the Ocnita – Mereseuca local road. The car overturned and caught fire. The driver managed to get out, but suffered second-degree leg burns.
One person was killed and six injured in seven accidents on the national roads yesterday and last night. Another 22 traffic accidents caused no victims.
