The program of trolleybuses was disrupted following the protests mounted by veterans in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau. Contacted by IPN, head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Dorin Chernyi said that 15 trolleybuses had to be towed away. A number of routes could not be operated.
As the circulation around the central square of the capital city was blocked by the protesters, the trolleybuses were diverted to București St. Jams appeared in parts given the heavier traffic.
