A woman, 27, was taken to hospital after a trolleybus crashed into the stop where she was queuing. The number 4 trolleybus collided with the trolleybus shelter on Negruzzi Street in Chisinau.
Chisinau Police spokesperson Natalia Stati has told IPN a brake failure was the probable cause. The driver, a 39-year-old man, chose to veer into the structure to avoid hitting another trolleybus just in front. A technical examination of the vehicle has been ordered.
Emergency Hospital press officer Cristina Gorea has said the woman is being evaluated to see if she requires hospitalization.
The police are also investigating.
