As from January 9, the foreign citizens, including Moldovans, who had been vaccinated against COVID-19 or had been infected and recovered, will be able to enter Israel if they fill out an online form beforehand, do a PCR or antigen test before embarking the plane and a PCR test on entrance into Israel and self-isolate for 24 hours or until a negative test result is obtained. The provisions apply to all the countries with an orange COVID-19 alert level, IPN reports.

Moldova’s Embassy in Israel said the unvaccinated foreigners or foreign citizens who haven’t recovered from the disease will not be allowed to enter Israel. The citizens from countries placed on red alert, except for those whose entry is authorized by the Committee for Exceptions, will be banned entry to Israel.

The foreigners who are permanent residents of Israel or holders of visas of type A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and B1, B3, B4 and who were fully vaccinated can ask to be allowed to return to Israel from their trip abroad by submitting an application online at most 48 hours before embarking their plane to Israel.
