Moldovans who are currently in Turkey, or transiting the country or ar planning on traveling there are warned about wildfires spreading in the provinces of Aydın, Izmir and Manisa in western Turkey, and the intensification of fires near Kavaklıdere district in Muğla province.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Moldovans to check weather conditions and follow official warnings issued by authorities before planning travel, and exercise caution in affected areas.
It is also advised to carefully monitor local media and notify the Moldovan diplomatic mission whenever travel is planned in affected areas.
Also, travelers must make sure they have sufficient fuel, water and food, and that their mobile communication devices are in good order.
