The Uzbek authorities extended the quarantine period until September 31 by keeping the restrictions on the entry and transiting of Uzbekistan imposed on foreigners. The reopening of the state border crossing points with the neighboring states will be considered depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of Moldova’s Embassy to Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia.
In connection with the epidemiological situation in Turkmenistan and in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic, restrictions on the crossing of the state border were imposed by the Turkmen authorities on foreigners until September 30 this year.
Armenia extended the state of emergency until September 11, 2020. The Armenian authorities imposed restrictions on the entry and crossing of Armenia on foreign citizens in a move to step up the COVID-19 containing measures.
