Transnistrias come to vote in Chisinau individually or in small groups

Most of the voters in Transnistria who decided to vote in Chisinau chose the polling place set up at Moldova’s Railways Division. More than 200 Transnistrians have voted there by 14.00, said Angela Harabagiu, the secretary of the polling place’s electoral bureau, Info-Prim Neo reports. Twenty-two persons from Transnistria voted at the polling place housed by SA Transenergoreparatia, while anther 20 at the polling place set up at Boarding School No.17. The Transnistrian voters did not go to the three polling places in an organized way. In most of they cases, they went individually or in small groups. They are mainly from Tighina, Tiraspol and from the districts of Dubasari and Slobozia. The persons younger than 30 are the most active. In the current elections, the Moldovans living on the left bank of the Nistru can vote at 21 polling places, which is by eight more than in the September 5 referendum. Three of these polling places are in Chisinau. The persons living in Moldova’s eastern districts who vote in Chisinau are written on additional lists.
