Hot water will begin to be supplied to the localities on the left bank of the Dniester starting Friday morning, according to the correspondent of IPN in the Transnistrian region. The supplies will be partial, announced local administration representatives, who decided to halt the heating in apartment radiators due to the high outdoor temperatures, which allowed for the redistribution of gas resources.

Local officials have started preparations for the resumption of hot water supply to residential buildings and began technical works to switch to the "summer schedule," after the average daily temperature exceeded +8 degrees Celsius. Starting Thursday, March 6, heating was limited in administrative and industrial buildings, while in residential buildings, it was adjusted according to the thermal regime. On Friday morning, from 8:00, hot water will be supplied everywhere where it is technically possible, the local authorities announced.

In the event of a new cold wave, the temperature of the heating agent in residential buildings will be increased, and heating bills starting March 6 will be adjusted.

In the context of the gas crisis, the Transnistrian region faced an energy resource shortage, and gas was primarily used for heating, power plants, and social institutions. The Tiraspol administration communicated that, with the change in the heating schedule, up to one million cubic meters of gas per day will be saved, part of which will be used both for hot water supply and industrial activities.

The state of emergency in the territory on the left bank of the Dniester has been extended until April 9.
