Three inhabitants of the Transnistrian region were arrested in Odessa on suspicion that they planned and carried out acts of terrorism in Ukraine, but also that they committed murders by order, thefts and other crimes on Moldova’s territory, IPN reports.
The Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that the three were arrested and are investigated for establishing their involvement in organizing acts of terrorism in Odessa region, by order of the Russian special services.
In the car and home rented by the three, the police found several kilograms of explosives, ammunitions and firearms. The prosecutors asked that the three should not be released on bail.
