The local administration believes that this way it will encourage the young people to choose vocational education, IPN reports.

According to the website of “Novyi Reghion” Agency, which makes reference to the statistical data of Tiraspol, about 20% of the places in vocational schools remained unoccupied in 2012.

The made changes enable the young people who didn’t manage to enter universities to study for a job. The authors of the legislative initiative said the amendments contribute to the harmonization of the region’s education system with the Russian one.
