The heating season was launched in the Transnistrian region. The social and educational institutions are being connected to the heat supply the first, IPN reports, quoting the local press.
Heat is already supplied to kindergartens, schools, hospitals and old people’s homes. Irina Bachurskaya, the head of a local preschool, said that until now the parents had to dress the children warmer as it was cold in the kindergarten. Now it is more comfortable inside.
Sergei Obolonic, of the Transnistrian administration, said the housing sector will be connected to the heat supply later.
In Chisinau, the heating season didn’t start. Last year heat began to be supplied in November.
