The Transnistrian conflict will be one of the topics that will be discussed at a meeting of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, who will pay a visit to Germany in the near future, Prime Minister Vlad Filat told a news conference on May 13, after paying a working visit to Berlin during May 11-12, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Germany will be near us and will transmit the clear message that we formulated – Transnistria is part of Moldova,” the Premier said, stressing he expects that Russia will be sincere in the discussions that will take place in Germany. Vlad Filat said that at the meeting with the German Chancellor in Berlin, they discussed issues concerning the constitutional crisis in Chisinau, the opening of the talks between Moldova and the EU on the liberalization of the visa regime on June 15 and other subjects.
