The Transnistrian dispute will be included in the agenda of the OSCE high-level meeting that will take place in the Kazakh capital of Astana early in December, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Protracted Conflicts, Ambassador Bolat Nurgaliyev said in a press briefing in Chisinau, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The 13th round of informal consultations in the 5+2 format will take place in Vienna on September 27 and 28. Such an agreement was reached in a meeting of the delegation of the Mediators and Observers in the Transnistrian settlement process and negotiators from Chisinau and Tiraspol. In Tiraspol, Bulat Nurgalyev met with Transnistria's representative in the negotiation process Vladimir Yastrebcheak and the chairs of the joint experts working groups on confidence-building measures. Nurgaliyev praised both sides for their constructive efforts in finding practical solutions to issues affecting the lives of ordinary people and the economy on both sides of the Nistru River. He said the working groups on defense and law enforcement work efficiently, cooperating especially in such areas as information exchange and search of stolen vehicles. At the same time, the group on economy and trade had only one meeting this year. The delegation of the Mediators and Observers in the Transnistrian settlement process has visited Chisinau and Tiraspol during September 20-23 in preparation for the consultations in the 5+2 format. They met with Acting President Mihai Ghimpu and are to meet with Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca.
