Vladimir Voronin pointed out the imperious necessity that students from Transnistria know the official language in order to achieve good results as professionals and to fully integrate into the social and political life of the country. Speaking about the facilitation of the recognition of the Tiraspol University diplomas, Vladimir Voronin mentioned that the Ministry of Education and Youth sent to the university all the normative acts for certification and proposed assistance in implementing the process of evaluation and certification. The certification will solve the problem of the recognition of students’ diplomas. The president proposed to organise a new meeting with the students from the eastern districts of the country for analysing their employment opportunities. 4625 students from the left bank of the Nistru River are currently studying in the higher educational institutions under the Ministry of Education and Youth.
