Starting January 7, Transnistria will experience scheduled power outages twice a day, each lasting 4 hours. The reason for the revised schedule is the imbalance between energy consumption and production, reports IPN.

Authorities state that the amount of energy produced is insufficient to meet consumption needs. The new electricity supply schedule will allow energy consumption to be aligned with the capacity of generating facilities. Additionally, this measure will help reduce the risk of network failures caused by the frequent operation of power equipment.
