The vehicle registration units in Tiraspol and Rybnitsa as from April 1 register trailers of cars and motor vehicles intended for the transportation of passengers with neutral-design license plates, IPN reports.
The categories of motor vehicles are enumerated in point 1 of the Protocol Decision of April 24, 2018 concerning participation in international road traffic by motor vehicles of the Transnistrian region that are not involved in commercial activity.
According to the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, the service will be provided in accordance with the Additional Protocol of September 30, 2020 to amend and supplement Annex No. 1 to the Protocol Decision of April 24, 2018 and Decision No. 45 of March 26, 2021 of the Institute of Standardization of the Republic of Moldova, by which the national technical standard was adjusted.
Starting with June 1 this year, the same local subdivisions will issue neutral-design registration certificates during 20 days for 330 lei and during ten days for 660 lei. The temporary registration certificates issued on the day or request will cost 80 lei.
