In connection with the holding of the fifth cycling race “Chisinau Criterium 2018” during May 12-13, some of the streets in Chisinau will be closed to traffic on a temporary basis, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the organizers.
The section of Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd between the streets Banulescu-Bodoni and Pushkin will be inaccessible to traffic starting at 1am on May 12. The next day, parts of streets on the itinerary of the cycling race will be closed to traffic. The itinerary is as follows: Great National Assembly Square - Stefan cel Mare Blvd - V. Parcalab St - V. Micle St - M. Eminescu St - Stefan cel Mare Blvd - V. Alecsandri St - Stefan cel Mare Blvd - Armeneasca St - Stefan cel Mare Blvd - A. Lapusneanu St - Stefan cel Mare Blvd - Great National Assembly Square.
The routes of the municipal passenger buses and trolleybuses that cross the area will be modified.
