Vehicle traffic on the road linking Basarabeasca to Ceadir-Lunga has been suspended after a portion of the road caved in, IPN reports.
To avoid the damaged segment, drivers are advised to follow a detour through the following locations: Chiriet-Lunga – Avdarma – Ferapontievca – Tomai – Ceadir-Lunga – Tvardita.
The National Patrol Inspectorate said in a press release that the road is affected on a stretch of 20 meters and this can imperil traffic safety. The damage is believed to be due to a sudden change in weather conditions.
