The stoplights on the streets Pushkin and Banulescu-Bodoni in Centru district of Chisinau will be disconnected this week in connection with pavement works in the pedestrian area A. Diordita. Thus, the streets Alexandru cel Bun and Cosmonautilor, on the section between Pushkin and Banulescu Bodoni, will be closed for traffic, IPN reports.
Deputy mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu Monday said the traffic lights are connected directly between them and thus should be disconnected simultaneously when Alexandru cel Bun and Cosmonautilor will be closed for traffic. Therefore, the traffic on Stefan cel Mare Blvd., Pushkin St and Renasterii Nationale Blvd. will be practically not regulated by stoplights. There will work only 1-2 pedestrian traffic lights.
