A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Monday morning on the Viaduct, towards Botanica district of Chisinau. Traffic in the area was disrupted.
Contacted by IPN for details, the press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said that the accident was reported at around 08:20. Arriving at the scene, the police determined that four transport units had been involved in the collision. Preliminarily, it was established that the distance between the cars was not respected while driving and the chain collision happened as result.
No person was harmed, but the cars involved were severely damaged. An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the accident.
