Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre to be opened in Chisinau

A Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre will be opened in Chisinau. This was decided upon at the third session of the Moldovan-Chinese intergovernmental Commission for social-economic cooperation, which was held in Beijing last week. Vice director of the Department of assistance for foreign countries within the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Wang Kui Li, stated during a meeting with the minister of Economy and Commerce (MEC) Igor Dodon that the Chinese Government will continue to provide financial assistance to exchange experience with Moldova in economy, health, culture etc. According to MEC data, the volume of the foreign trade between Moldova and China, in January-September 2006, amounted to about USD 78 mln and increased by over 60%, compared to the similar period of last year.
