The foreigners, including the Moldovans, who will go to work in Russia will have to indicate that they intend to work there in the migration card that is issued by the Russian border authorities. The new amendments to the legislation concerning the legal status of foreigners in Russia took effect on July 22, 2014, IPN reports, quoting an informative note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.
The applications for patents or work permits submitted by persons who will indicate another purpose in the migration card (tourism, studies, treatment etc.) will be rejected.
