The latest actions of Tiraspol are nothing else, but provocations aimed at destabilizing the situation both in the electoral period and after the elections. Such opinions were stated in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

Doctor of International Relations Victor Juc believes that Tiraspol continues to provoke, while the Moldovan authorities show impotence. “The Transnistrian administration is trying to provoke by all means, while the Moldovan authorities show powerlessness, as always, either not to make those from Tiraspol angry or not to damage the relations with Moscow. Chisinau should show more firmness,” he stated.

The dean of the Law Faculty of the Moldova Free International University Alexandru Cauia considers that things could worsen after the legislative elections. “Unlike Ukraine, Moldova has a military presence of Russia on its territory, which can anytime take action. The danger is very great. I think the future government should review the status of neutrality of Moldova so as to be able to guarantee the country’s security,” he noted

The head of “Promo-Lex” Association Ion Manole said Chisinau will be unable to react promptly to Tiraspol’s provocations that will intensify simultaneously with the progress that Moldova will make on the path to European integration. “The new administration will have the task of restoring the people’s confidence in the political class and the government. Separatism is propagated much easier when the population does not have confidence in the authorities,” he stated.

Constitutional law expert Vitalie Gamurari said that the foreign factor should be engaged more in the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict. “The voice of Kyiv was heard after the war started. We must not allow the voice of Chisinau to be heard also only after the beginning of a military conflict,” he noted.
