The Transnistrian administration adopted a program to clear the debts related to pensions after paying these in the amount of 70% and then 80% this year. Initially, the overdue amounts will be paid to the pensioners who were struck off the lists this year, IPN reports.
The Transnistrian press reported that starting with December 7 there will distributed the unpaid amounts of the pensions of those who are no longer supported by the local administration either because they left the region, receive pension from another state or died.
Earlier, there was used a mechanism according to which, when a pensioner was struck off the lists, his/her data or the data of the successors were collected for being paid the amounts retained from the pension for the whole period during which this wasn’t paid fully.
The process of settling the debts to the pensioners who were removed from the lists is to close at end December. As to the other pensioners, no such details were yet provided.
