Tiraspol leaders refuse the help proposed by the Chisinau authorities to overcome the crisis in the Transnistrian region, caused by the cessation of gas supplies from Russia. This was announced by President Maia Sandu in a video published after her morning meeting with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and the head of the legislature Igor Grosu, IPN reports.

"The government and foreign partners have offered humanitarian aid: food, medicines, fuel, generators, transportation of the sick from the left bank to the right. But the Tiraspol regime refused all this aid", Maia Sandu said.

According to the President of the Republic of Moldova, things are more complicated for the left bank in this period of energy crisis. "We will see how things will unfold, but the authorities in Chisinau are doing everything to ease the situation for the citizens of the Transnistrian region", promised the head of state, Maia Sandu.
