Transnistria’s de facto leader Vadim Krasnoselski issued a decree simplifying border check rules when entering the self-proclaimed republic during December 30-January 15, the local press reported.
Krasnoselski also ordered additional crossing points to be temporarily opened at Valea Adinca-Zagnitkov, Ploti-Krutie, Vinogradnoe-Novie Butori, Grusca-Nemirovka, Krasni Oktiabr-Vetrujeni, Rascov-Vadul-Rascov, Tibulevka-Tehanovka, and Teia-Calfa.
The simpler check rules will apply mainly to Moldovan and Ukrainian visitors living in neighboring communities. Goods inspections will be also simplified.
