The local authorities of Tiraspol plan to light 50 yards of apartment buildings in the city by autumn. It is estimated that 1.3 million Transnistrian rubles will be invested in street lighting. A sum of 450,000 rubles was spent last year for the purpose, IPN reports, with reference to the local press.
The works cover the areas where there are no electricity poles or the installations are defective.
Currently, works are performed in the Okteabriskii and Krasnye Kazarmy micro-districts.
