The Transnistrian administration announced its intention to extend the period of stay in the region for cars with foreign license numbers up to six months. Now the owners of motor vehicles registered outside the Transnistrian region have to leave the territory once in two month. When they enter the region, they submitted a new customs declaration and pay a tax of 0.18% of the price of the car, IPN reports.
The method of determining and paying the vignette will be modified. According to the Transnistrian press, it is proposed paying this tax only for the days of stay on the right side of the Nistru, not on every entry.
Another initiative refers to enterprises involved in foreign economic activities. Currently, these are obliged to pay a number of taxes. It is suggested annulling all the taxes, except for the registration tax, which will be raised from 0.18% to 0.3% of the declared value of goods.
