The lump sum childbirth payment and the child benefit in the Transnistrian region will be higher from July 1, IPN reports, quoting a local TV channel.
Now, the lump sum childbirth or adoption payment is 1,824 Transnistrian rubles (1,477 lei), with a bonus of 3,000 rubles (about 2,500 lei). From July 1, the payment will be 1,881 rubles (about 1,500 lei), while the bonus will remain 3,000 rubles.
The people who work or study receive monthly 1,045 rubles (about 845 lei) for looking after the child, while the uninsured persons – 332 rubles (270 lei). From July 1, the child benefit will rise to 1,078 rubles (873 lei) and, respectively, 343 rubles (277 lei).
The mothers who will register with a doctor during the first months of pregnancy will receive a lump sum of 127 rubles (100 lei), while the working women will receive a maternity leave and childbirth payment of 250 rubles (202 lei).
