Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselski ordered to create operational civil protection groups under the state administrations of cities and districts with a view to dealing with the sudden worsening of the weather conditions expected on January 6-8, IPN reports.
He instructed to verify the functionality and level of technical preparedness for working in difficult weather conditions and the operational reaction of the state motor inspection. In case of severe frosts, temporary placement centers for homeless persons will be set up at terminals.
The managers of companies and organizations are obliged to clean the snow from the adjoining areas.
Head of the local executive Aleksandr Martynov called on the population to call the emergency services in case of necessity.
The situation will be monitored in real time by the local administration so as to swiftly adopt the required decisions, IPN reports, quoting the website of the Transnistrian leader.
