The Transnistrian administration requested the Moldovan authorities to provide the list of functionaries who plan to cross the Nistru River during the paschal holidays. According to Transnistrian officials, the list is needed for ensuring the smooth crossing by the MPs and government official of the Nistru to Transnistria, IPN reports.
The political representative of Tiraspol Nina Shtanski said that she asked acting Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov to prepare such a list so as to create a liberalized crossing regime and the necessary security for the officials. The Transnistrian side repeatedly requested that the lawmakers and government functionaries who want to go to Transnistria during the Easter holidays should be included in the list.
Earlier, the Government agreed with the Transnistrian administration to ensure the free movement of the people from both banks of the Nistru during May 5-6 and May 12-13.
