Tiraspol administration intends to build crematorium

The administration of Tiraspol is considering the initiative of constructing a crematorium in the town. The announcement was made by the director of the municipal company “Spetsavtohozeastvo” Maxim Bratuh, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting “Novyi Reghion” Agency. Maxim Bratuh said that now the residents of Transnistria have to use the services of crematoriums of other states, especially Ukraine. “We intend to build the crematorium on the territory of the municipal cemetery so that services could be provided on the spot,” he stated. It is also planned to construct a columbarium where to put the urns with the ashes of dead persons. Moldova does not have a crematorium. The cremation procedure in Ukraine’s Odessa cost almost 500 lei.
