“Timpul de dimineata” newspaper organises the White Gala of Timpul 2006

The “Timpul de dimineata” (“The Morning Time”) daily organised the White Gala of Timpul 2006 on Thursday, December 21. Laureates of the Time, young journalists of the year and politicians were awarded. The prizes of the contest “Subscription-2007” were given before the beginning of the Gala. This way, 50 readers of “Timpul” won MDL 100 each. Another 5 readers won 5 books, and Petru Malachi from Purcari village, Stefan Voda village won the Grand Prix – a TV set. Also, the newspaper awarded 5 young journalists of the year: Ana Butnariuc, reporter at DECA-Press News Agency, Corneliu Ciobanu, reporter at Info-Prim Neo News Agency; Olga Gorceac, editor-presenter at “Vocea Basarabiei” radio station; Marina Panzaru, reporter of TV-7; Domnita Plugaru, reporter at “Antena C” radio station. The award for courage and dignity was offered to Lucia Culev and to the entire team of “Antena C” radio station. Several personalities representing culture and arts, science, business and law were offered 16 diplomas. Among them are the secretary of the Chisinau Municipal Council Vladimir Sarban, the historian Anatol Petrencu, the actor Igor Mitreanu, the director of “Artima” factory Alexandra Can, the artist Ecaterina Ajder, the lawyer Alexandru Tanase, the writer Andrei Vartic, and the choreographer Victoria Bucun. 10 caricatures of the politicians of the year were presented at the event. The caricatures belong to Alex Dimitrov and were accompanied by epigrams by Ion Diviza.
