Timofti: I’m comfortable working anywhere

President Nicolaie Timofti, at 100 days since his investiture, says that he has had a sense of duty in all his jobs, and he tries to respect his obligations strictly in accordance with the Constitution. “It is easy for me to work anywhere, because I’ve always followed the Law”, told the country’s President to the journalists. When asked what reply he would give to the MPs who claim that the President avoided scandals in the past 100 days, and at the same time, stayed in the shadows, being timid and passive, Nicolaie Timofti said that this is how he is. “This is how I behave. I don’t need to PR my position. I don’t work at TV channel or radio posts”, added the Head of the State. Nicolaie Timofti was elected President of the Republic of Moldova on March 16, with 62 votes. On March 23, the President took his oath. His first visit was to Brussels, followed by a visit to Bucharest. The 100 days of service will add up on Saturday, June 30.
