Tilimilitreamdia wins Inter-university Brain Ring Cup

“Tilimilitreamdia” from the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) has won the Inter-univesity Brain Ring Cup, which took place between November 6 and December 5 in Chisinau. The president of the Moldovan Club of Intellectual Games, Marcel Spataru, told Info-Prim Neo that in the final stage of the tournament the team from UTM faced the team “Xperience” from the Academy of Economic Studies. The third place went to the team “Kolaphos” from the Moldovan State University. The winning team was awarded the Cup, while other active participants received medals and presents offered by the sponsors of the tournament, said Marcel Spataru. The final took place on Wednesday, December 5, in a night club in Chisinau with and audience of about 300 persons. The band “Snails” warmed up the atmosphere of the show. The Inter-university Brain Ring Cup brought together 44 teams from 7 universities in Moldova. The competition was organised by the Moldovan Club of Intellectual Games, in partnership with the Club of Young Prime-Ministers of Moldova and supported by the ASET International Company. Brain Ring is a dynamic game in which 6-player teams are competing. The teams have to answer questions of logic, perspicacity and erudition. In September 2007, the Moldovan national team, two members of which are also playing for Tilimilitreamdia, won the World Brain Ring Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
