The tickets to the October 9 football match between Moldova and Russia, of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship qualifying rounds, will be available from the box offices of the Zimbru stadium starting with September 21. The Moldovan Football Federation said each person can buy at most four tickets by showing the identity card, passport or another identification paper issued on Moldova’s territory, IPN reports.
The Federation explained that this game is of increased interests and the stadium is expected to be packed. Therefore, a person will be able to purchase not more than found tickets, while the identification papers will be asked for security reasons.
The cheapest ticket will cost 50 lei, while the most expensive one, in the VIP area – 400 lei. Most of the tickets will cost 100 lei. The Zimbru stadium has a seating capacity of 11,000.
Moldova plays in Group G of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship qualifying rounds. It ranks last with two points scored in the return match against Russia (1-1) and in a game against Lichtenstein (1-1). Besides the encounter with Russia, Moldova is to also play to return match against Sweden on October 12. Group leader Austria is followed by Russia and the Russians bank a lot on the game against Moldova.
