The State Weather Service has issued a code-yellow advisory warning of lightning storms and gusty wind. The advisory will be in place for 24 hours starting Monday evening, 5:00PM,
During this period, wind will blow from NW in gusts of up to 15-20 meters a second.
On Tuesday, temperatures will drop significantly to 23-25 degrees Celsius during daytime. Highs will reach again the 30 degree mark by Friday, exceeding it by Saturday.
Despite the showers, a hydrological drought advisory remains in place until August 31, which is a type of drought associated with low levels of surface and underground water. Both companies and the public are urged to use water resources consciously.
