Three young men stabbed by group of attackers

Three young men aged between 18 and 19 were stabbed by a group of aggressive young persons yesterday evening on a street in Chisinau's Botanica district. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened on Independnetei St at about 9pm. The three young men were waiting for a friend when a group of about ten aggressive young persons surrounded them and started to beat them. One of them was stabbed in the chest, another one in the abdomen, while the third in the lumbar region. The three young men were rushed to the Emergency Hospital. A 30-year-old man from Bubuieci village stabbed himself in the abdomen after he had a quarrel with his wife. He was taken to the hospital and operated. A woman aged 29 was hit in the head with an ax by her brother-in-law. Fortunately, the ax rebounded and the woman suffered only a wound in the parietal region and a concussion. A three-member family and a man aged 36 were admitted to the hospital after they ate fresh mushrooms prepared at home and got poisoned. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 685 emergencies, including 87 cases of acute viral infection, 71 cases of trauma, and five strokes.
