A boy aged three fell from the balcony of an apartment building situated in Tiraspol town. The emergencies services were called at 5am by neighbors, who found the child on the lawn near the block, IPN reports, with reference to the local press.
The child was taken to the Mother and Child Center in Tiraspol by a team of doctors. He was admitted to the intensive care section.
The police established that the boy was left unsupervised in the apartment located on the third floor. His 25-year-old mother left him sleeping in the home. She found out about the incident when she returned home. An investigation is under way to establish all the circumstances of this case.
