Three-year-old boy hospitalized after beating

A three-year-old boy from Ungheni was hospitalized with a serious head trauma. The Prosecutor General’s Office says that the police were alerted by doctors at the Ungheni District Hospital after they found signs of physical violence on the child’s body, Info-Prim Neo reports. The prosecutors suspect that the mother’s partner beat the boy while the mother was at work. The victim is hospitalized at the Center for Mother and Child. The Ungheni Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation on charges of domestic violence.
