Three types of social services will be provided in Moldova

The method of providing and financing social services and the role of the social inspection are defined in a new bill that was approved by the Government and is to be adopted by the Parliament. “The basic principles for providing social services laid down in the bill are the beneficiary-centered assistance and equal opportunities for the recipients,” said Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The bill divides the social services into three groups: primary social services at the community level, specialized social services and highly specialized social services provided in a residential institution. Valentina Buliga also said the document describes the duties of the public authorities of all the levels and of the public associations in providing social services.
