This coming Sunday, the villages of Ghetlova (Orhei), Glinjeni (Fălești) and Zastânca (Soroca) will hold a second round of snap elections to choose their mayors.
There are a total of 6,535 eligible voters in the three rural constituencies, with the largest being Glinjeni – 2,641 voters. 6,561 ballot papers were printed at a cost of 1.35 lei apiece.
The ballot papers contain the names of the first two candidates that garnered the biggest number of votes in the respective first rounds, held on May 29.
Polling places will open at 7:00am and will remain so until 9:00pm. Voters who may not physically show up for health reasons may request a mobile box to vote.
