Three persons lost their lives in accidents that happened on the national roads on Wednesday, August 18.
Dana Andronic, PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that a 46-year-old woman from Prepelita village of Sangerei village was fatally struck by a speeding Audi 100 with Hancesti license number.
An unidentified man was crushed under the wheels of a KIA car in Ungheni town. The car went out of control and struck the pedestrian.
An 18-year-old man lost control of his BMW car while going through Comrat town and crashed it into a concrete pole. The driver died in the hospital shortly afterward. The passengers were also hospitalized with different injuries.
Three persons were killed and 13 injured in 12 traffic accidents in Moldova yesterday and last night. The traffic police fined 422 drivers, seven of whom for DUI, 31 for traveling unbuckled and 61 for speeding.
